<p>Why should we go on a low diet? Because excessive fat in our diets may lay the groundwork for heart disease. The simple understanding of low diet is to low your daily fat intake.</p>
<p>To maintain our normal health we need proteins, carbohydrates, fats (which are also manufactured by the body), vitamins, minerals, and water. If you simply eat less or just cut fat out of you diet, you will lack in at least one of the essential nutrients.</p>
<p>People&#8217;s daily intake are low in essential nutriments, minerals and other vital requirements, but too rich in fat as well as calories, refined sugars, starches, and oils in western counties.</p>
<p>The excessive intake of fats leads to the shortening of life, premature death by heart attacks and strokes, obesity, and numerous crippling illnesses. </p>
<p>The control of what we eat and fat intake in our food is the way we can control our cholestrol level. We must keep a check on the amount of fat we eat in our diet, otherwise, we can cause permanent damage to the arterial walls. The liver is largely what makes the cholesterol found in the blood in your body. But the the amount of cholesterol in your body due to the fat intake is still a very complex question.</p>
<p>Cutting down and keeping in control the fat content is a main priority in our diet. Omega-3 and polyunsaturated are the healthy fats and should be eaten in avocados,fish and olive oil. Abundant amounts of these type foods should be in your diet.</p>
<p>Research shows that a substantial weight reduction of about 20 pounds was achieved by both men and women on the low-fat diet, and expect to live twice as long as those who followed a regular diet.</p>
<p>People on a low-fat or fat-free diet it is most certainly known now are virtually free from heart attacks and strokes, which are so common among people on a fat diet.</p>
<p>Concluding what and what not to eat is the correct knowledge of low diet. Eating the correct foods and on no circumstances should you starve. </p>
<p>Tighter muscles and less flab with increasing energy and less weight is the healthy way with your low-fat, low-cholesterol diet. You will of course feel much better in youself with the reduction in your fat as you burn it off.</p>

This is great motivation, but then your fat loss starts to slow down and you don&#8217;t see the results.  It&#8217;s hard to continue when your reach this plateau.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s natural to lose weight easily at first and then to start to slow down.  Don&#8217;t lose faith though. It seems harder but it doesn&#8217;t have to be.  You can reach a 100% or your fat burning goals and keep it off by training smart.  Add variety and increase your intensity temporarily to shed the extra pounds.</p>
<p>Lack of persistence makes it difficult to shed the last few pounds or to reach your final goal.  Once you reach a certain weight you may be inclined to stop trying and say your happy with what you&#8217;ve accomplished.  And eventually you start to go back to your old habits and give up before your reach your initial goal.</p>
<p>Giving up before you reach your final goal can have negative long term effects. The next time you try it will be even more difficult to stick to your goals.  But if you persist until you&#8217;ve reached your goal you&#8217;ll develop a great habit of sticking to goals which leads to a positive morale boost and healthier you.</p>
<p>Most of the time the problem isn&#8217;t that you don&#8217;t work hard enough but that you may just be training wrong. Cardio alone is a great way to burn extra calories but not the best way.  Strength training with long rests between exercises can be inefficient use of your time and less effective in burning fat.</p>
<p>A common mistake most people make is sticking to the same workout for over 6 weeks.  But burning fat requires not only a combination of cardio and resistance training but also variety and increasing intensity.</p>
<p>Following the same routine for more than 6 weeks can also lead you to plateau.  Your muscles adapt and work more efficiently therefore require less energy.  This burns less calories.  This is why it&#8217;s important to add variety and increase intensity.</p>
<p>If you walk everyday for example at the same pace and for the same amount of time, try increasing your pace for a few minutes or walking for a little longer than usual. Challenge yourself each time by increasing your pace a little or walking for just a little longer each time.</p>
<p>Don&#8217;t perform the same exercises with the same intensity for more than 4 to 6 weeks.  Make sure to add some variety by trying different exercises and adding intensity as they exercises become easier.  This way you&#8217;ll keep your body challenged and continue to burn fat and keep it off.</p>

So starting an exercise regimen to reduce stress in your life could be one of THE most important decisions you make. </p>
<p>Exercise will strengthen your body, inside and out and bring your stress levels down. Even performing simple activities like walking, stretching, or hiking will strengthen your heart, lungs and muscles. </p>
<p>Walking could be the smartest exercise choice you could make. No equipment or gear of any kind is required and you can walk anywhere, anytime. Walking can be enjoyable, especially if you go with a partner and just enjoy each others company. Going for a walk with a friend will make it something to look forward to.</p>

<p>Everyone wants to break bad habits. However, there is one aspect about habits that is often overlooked by many people. It is vital that we know that our habits do meet one or more of our needs. It has a specific function. A habit came into existence in the first place to meet that function. </p>
<p>Lets take the example of biting fingernails. Many people have this bad habit. However we can see a pattern from it. Usually people will bite their fingernails when they are feeling nervous or uneasy. So biting fingernails is actually a medium in which people use to relieve their nervousness and uneasiness. </p>
<p>When you break a habit, but did not replace it with an alternative to perform the old habits function, you will eventually go back to doing the old habit. As in the above example, if you dont find an alternative way to handle nervousness, if you dont have a way to release your emotions of anxiousness and uneasiness, youll eventually go back to your fingernail biting days. </p>
<p>That is why you need to identify the function and purpose of a particular habit. What did that habit give you on a physical, psychological and emotional level? Which needs did it meet? How is it meeting those needs? </p>
<p>Remember, when you kick a habit, you will be losing the function of that particular habit too. Without having an adequate replacement, you will unconsciously go back to doing that habit sooner or later. </p>
<p>To discover the function of a particular habit, it is often necessary to look deeper into ourselves and our actions. To do this, try to identify a pattern that regularly leads you to doing the habit. Look for indicators to help you find the original purpose which made you develop that habit in the first place.</p>
<p>To identify the patterns of the habit, ask yourself questions such as the following; what usually happens before you did the habit, who were you with; what time was it; what was the location; what were you doing at that time; what happened before and after doing the habit etc. </p>
<p>With a replacement in place, we can continue to meet that need even after we have kicked the habit. For example, if you smoke or drink to relieve stress, you can look for other outlets to relieve stress such as exercising, meditating or taking up a hobby. </p>
<p>Look for positive ways to fill that gap and ensure that the replacement is effective and adequate. Only through doing that will we kick a habit for the long term.</p>

We first come to be tempted by alcohol while in our teens, and in some people even younger. Since the law forbids anyone under the age of 21 to purchase alcohol, it then becomes the forbidden fruit. Many teens and young adults under 21 see alcohol as desirable and &#8220;cool&#8221; to both obtain and drink.</p>
<p>Later on people grab a bottle of booze to feel better, gain more confidence in a social setting or to forget about their problems.  Since the alcohol makes them feel better, at least temporarily, they start to crave it.</p>
<p>Consuming alcohol on a regular basis also becomes a habit after a while, just like driving down a familiar road.  If there is a problem, or a social setting that calls for alcohol, you may be grabbing that bottle of beer or glass of wine without even thinking about it.</p>
<p>Once drinking reaches the point of being almost second nature, the dependency has begun.  Your body becomes accustomed to the levels of alcohol in the blood stream and will react if that level drops with withdrawal symptoms.  These symptoms can be wide ranging from mild to very severe.</p>
<p>Alcohol can be extremely dangerous.  One of the most common diseases associated with alcohol addiction is liver cirrhosis, which causes liver cells to die and the tissue to harden as a result of drinking.  It is by no means the only danger to your health.</p>
<p>Alcohol can also lead to heart disease, stroke, dementia and brain damage, cancer (including liver cancer, colon cancer and breast cancer in women). Not to mention the addition of the perils of drinking and driving.</p>
<p>Should you find yourself wanting that occasional glass of beer or wine, make smart choices. Make sure that you recognize the craving as to not let it develop to anything serious and make a conscious choice to limit yourself to only one glass, or skip it at all.  Don&#8217;t let your cravings or emotions cloud your judgment.</p>

The career prospects are excellent, with vacancies in the health and fitness field and complementary therapies calling for Aerobics instructors, fitness training instructors, one on one coaches, health club and leisure centre management, gymnasiums, nutrition councilors, recreation activity directors, or back to your own home gym for fitness or hard core lifting for bodybuilding enthusiasts.</p>
<p>You might even want to try out modeling for sports clothes, equipment, supplements etc or you could even venture into Bodybuilding competitions at either local, national or international levels, obviously focusing on the prize money that can be won. It&#8217;s up to you how hard you are prepared to learn and with the sufficient commitment you could end up spending the remainder of your working life as a professional bodybuilding coach.</p>
